The gwk basket filter with double mesh filter DN 40, controlled by SPS, is designed for use in a cooling water supply system or return of a circulating medium. Thanks to its compact design, it guarantees the safe operation of water in injection molding processes.
In order to guarantee continuous use, the stainless steel construction is standard, which is a great advantage over conventional filters that rust easily.

Integrated system management
With the help of differential pressure monitoring, the degree of contamination of the sieve insert is measured and transmitted through a potential-free contact to the central control unit (visualization or warning lamp). Thus, it is possible to constantly monitor the working state of the filter. The tolerance range of the degree of contamination can be individually adapted to the production conditions.
Basket filter with double mesh filter DN 40 consists of:
- 2 mesh filter housings (connected in parallel)
- 2 magnetic separators
- 1 stainless steel console
- 1 from the central control cabinet
- 1 control unit for automatic switching
- 1 from the integrated system control (differential pressure switch)

Thanks to its compact design, it guarantees the safe operation of water in injection molding processes. Different sizes of filter cells (200 µm as standard) ensure high quality of clean process water.Rust and other deposits are collected in a large basket filter. A strong magnet in the basket insert holds the smallest iron particles. This prevents the formation of deposits and suspended solids in pipelines and important machine parts. One of the two filter housings is always in operation, and the other cleaned filter housing is ready for use in standby mode. Thus, it is possible to clean the contaminated filter element without interrupting the operation of the system. Switching to the cleaned filter housing occurs automatically.
The components of the machine are made of corrosion-resistant materials. The system is pre-assembled and ready for installation.
