Extrusion lines for the production of sheet from XPS
UNION extrusion lines for foamed sheet from XPS consist of twin screw extruders with unidirectional screw rotation for a capacity of 350 kg/h or a Tandem system for a capacity of up to 700 kg/h.
The annular extrusion head is equipped with an external lip opening adjustment. The calibrator consists of a cooling drum for the inner surface of the sheet and a ring with a fan for cooling the outer surface of the sheet.
Production of multilayer sheet
The resulting sheet is wound on pneumatic shafts controlled by a motor with a Servosystem type inverter and a speed reducer. The lines can be connected to lamination or coating equipment for the production of high-tech sheets.
