Extrusion lines for the production of PP honeycomb sheet
The EPP and HDPE line produces hollow sheets weighing 200 to 2500 gr/m2, with a sheet thickness of 1200 to 3500 microns and by co-extrusion on the outer surfaces. We have also implemented lines with inclined, crossed, vertical and crossed three-walled hollow section.
UNION machines use materials with PTR from 0.3 to 4 kg/dm3 without limiting efficiency. Constant research of the upper components and the development of hollow sheet technology allowed us to produce HDPE sheets with an inner surface ideally similar to a product made of polypropylene copolymer.

Example of a technical solution of the line
An example of equipment for a honeycomb sheet is a line consisting of a TR 160 extruder with a capacity of 1000 kg/h, a UNION gear pump, a continuous filter change system, a 2900 mm flat-plate head for a honeycomb sheet, a calibrator with 3 pairs of calibration plates and their self-cleaning system ("water veil"), a roller conveyor, a device corona discharge treatments and cross-cutting systems. UNION always pays special attention to the markets of the highest technological level, producing equipment of excellent quality and productivity.
